Faber-Castell, the company behind Creativity For Kids, recently contacted me to review one of their art kits. I was a big fan of their kits already. My kids really loved their Paint and Peel Window Art kit, and we still have lovely butterflies, fish, and flying saucers displayed on our French doors from that project.
This time we had the chance to try the Racer Bikes kit. This kit is intended for children ages 5 and up, and it includes 2 motorcycles to decorate with stickers and paint. I thought this would be perfect for my sons, who are 5 1/2 and 7. I really liked the fact that they could do this project together. If I could change anything about it, I would say that I wish the kit had come with 2 paint brushes instead of just 1. Luckily we had an extra paintbrush on hand, but I can see that it might have been a problem if they had to fight over a single paintbrush.
The Racer Bikes kit was age-appropriate for my 5 1/2 year old, and it really was up his alley because he loves vehicles and painting. My 7 year old enjoyed it, too. After the project was completed, we had the chance to upload a picture of the finished product at the Creativity for Kids gallery. I thought this was a really cool feature.
